This seems to be the summer of the KAL!
We have worked with Liz of Apple Tree Knits to create some
beautiful kits with special gradually changing colorways plus beads for a new Mystery KAL that is being offered by Anne-Lise Maigaard.

What we have on Earth Faire is
a kit in the colorway of your choice --- yarn and beads that will work beautifully for this shawl. Liz and I worked together on creating these colors and I couldn’t be more pleased!
The dyeing has been done so that there will be a very gradual change of hues as you knit. Some are very subtle, some more variegated, all are wonderful. And I love love love the beads we found for these.
The finished product here will be a beautiful beaded shawl, a less-than-circle-but-more-than-half-circle shape.
Anne-Lise rates the skill level needed for this project as intermediate.

The Fibre Company just put out a new (and their first) lace weight yarn called
Meadow.
It is simply amazing to feel. And to help kick off its debut, the ladies who run the Fibre Company are also having their first Mystery KAL.
Here all you need is one skein of Meadow and the pattern from them on

The finished piece will be a triangular shawl.
I have been told that it's an advanced beginner level though I just noticed that the pattern itself places it at intermediate. You'd be safe to figure a bit of a stretch for an advanced beginner but with lots of help. It uses lace knitting from a chart, while also including helpful information that Kate and Courtney use when they teach lace knitting classes. A great design to learn on...
