A partnership made in Wonderland! Announcing a new KAL (Knit ALong) coming in October, based loosely on Alice's Adventures Through the Looking Glass (one of my all time favorite books!).

The designer is Janine Le Cras. She has created a lovely Faroese-style shwl with an option of nupps or beads.

The amazing Laura and Kelly of The Unique Sheep will be dyeing the yarns. In regular or Gradiance colors -- truly lovely -- in any and all of their fingering weight bases.

And we are providing the beads! These will be size 6/0 beads, added by the crochet-hook method.

The KAL is starting in October. When you place your order the wheels will start turning -- your yarn dyed, your beads selected -- and you will have your kit in plenty of time for the first clue to arrive in your email in-box.

Plus there is a group set up on Ravelry and on Plurk for constant data and comradery.

This should be tremendous fun!

We have been privileged to be offered the opportunity to carry many designs of Susan Pandorf's gorgeous Fellowship of the Ring Collection. These are really marvelous -- they have that extra je-ne-sais-quoi that gives a real special flavor to them each.

And we have teamed up with The Unique Sheep to be able to put together some absolutely stunning kits for making these beauties.
We are gradually getting the yarns in and getting them up on the site.

Right now (as of this morning) we can offer three amazing Evenstar Kits, one done in Eos dyed in Snow Glint , another in Eos dyed in a Gradiance Set of Dragon Fire, and the third in the glorious Gradiance colorway called Neptune's Garden.

As you are probably aware, some months ago we were delighted to find a lovely high quality cashmere for a great price --- and immediately thought of Sivia Harding's wondrous Heart to Heart design. It is a spectacular piece. We have been so very pleased with the Heart to Heart kit, offered in two soft pastel colors, a soft baby pink and a delicate sky blue.

What we have now is the same high quality cashmere for those of us who enjoy the richness of jewel-tones! We can now offer Peacock and Rich Blueberry, both of them rich and deep hues that are simply delicious.

We just got in our second much anticipated shipment of Scarf-in-a-Scarf Kits !

A wonderful concept in scarf knitting -- an easy-as-pie pattern that makes an amazing looking piece.

And the colors are truly breath-taking!

We just got in twenty kits, spread out amongst six colorways. (Ooops! make that three colorways! Three sold out super-fast!).

We are delighted to be able to offer these again. It is always a pleasure to offer such a great little project.

We have been steadily getting in more and more of the marvelous Gradiance sets from The Unique Sheep and just had to mention it. These are great tools for self-expression, a unique way of dyeing yarn so that as a set of skeins is used, your project will gradually change from one hand painted color to the next. Wonderful for shawls and scarves and socks and so very many great projects.

Some sets have a dramatic shift in color, and others have more subtle transition. We are thrilled with these wondrous and unique sets of skeins. And we have been fortunate enough to have been able to work closely with Laura and Kelly to develop the colors you see here, exclusive to Earth Faire.

We are so absolutely delighted to have gotten our latest order of Shelridge Farms' Soft Touch Ultra , their fingering weight superwash that feels just amazingly buttery.

We had worked out special exclusive Earth Faire colorways way back when -- and just got a new shipment of our favorites! The colors are so clean and beautiful, we are really really pleased to be able to offer these again.
